Suspension Tips & Troubleshooting

* When installing your rear shock put a little upward pressure on your swing arm before tightening bolts in order to take out any play. If you don't do this you can get false sag readings. Torque your bolts.

* When you service your shock it is a good idea to grease your linkage, check for rusted bearings, and pay attention to torque on the swing arm pivot bolts. Some OEM torque specs are excessive & cause binding in the linkage.

* Set you sag! Generally should be set to 100-105mm. Try different settings to see what works best for you.

* When installing your fork, pay close attention to properly aligning your front end. Refer to your owner's manual. Misaligned forks can cause binding which will cause your forks to feel harsh and will lead to leaky seals & worn bushings. Torque your pinch bolts.

* Take the time to learn what your clickers do. Even the best suspension can be improved from track to track by fine tuning your clickers. Try different settings, & remember that you can always go back to the stock settings.

* We recommend changing fork and shock oil at 20 hour intervals. You will be amazed at what fresh oil will do for your suspension.

We provide suspension by Powerband Racing.

All of our re-valves are custom set-up for each rider. We start by first getting the proper springs for your weight & riding ability. We then completely disassemble and clean all the parts. All wear parts are then inspected, measured, & replaced if necessary. Next we build & install a custom shim stack and finally oil is added & clickers are set.

All services include complete disassembly & cleaning of all components. All components are inspected & measured for wear, then reassembled using only genuine OEM parts and oil.

Revalve price includes valving parts, oil, & labor. Worn parts, like seals & bushings, cost extra. Springs may also be needed and are not included in list price. We suggest replacing all worn parts at time of service.
